Organisation description:
The European School Education Platform (ESEP) is a comprehensive, free-access digital hub launched in 2022 by the European Commission, merging the former School Education Gateway and eTwinning platforms. It serves as a central meeting point for school educators, researchers, policymakers, and vocational training professionals across Europe, providing weekly updates, expert articles, teaching materials, podcasts, toolkits, and inclusive education resources. Through its eTwinning component, it enables safe online collaboration between schools for project work, peer exchange, and professional development backed by recognition via awards and quality labels. The platform also supports the planning and enhancement of Erasmus+ educational projects by offering a course catalogue, partner search, webinars, and professional development opportunities. Available in all EU languages and several non-EU languages via machine translation, the platform encourages participation via an EU Login account to unlock its full suite of features.
Address:
The platform is managed virtually under EU institutions headquartered in Brussels, Belgium
